Hi all, for once I am not showing a card that I have made for a challenge for DS4J...but I am going to be showing you a new image of theirs that came out a couple of weeks ago. I am also going to be showing you a new digital paper line from Nana Vic's. So go grab yourself a cup of something and sit back, this is going to be a bit of a longer post.
When first saw the image and the paper I knew that I had to make a card with them both. The hard part was colouring the image...not because it is a difficult image to colour but because I am still learning to use my Chameleon pens. I love them but they do take a bit to get used to when you have rarely used alcohol markers lol.
So the image is called Bird Bath and the papers are called Shabby Chic, but there is nothing shabby about them. I absolutely love how they look with my project. They come in 4 different colours but for my card I used the blue.
I used some sky paper that I found online at Picphotos.net and printed my image out on it. I cut out the image and mounted it onto my Nestibilities Floral Oval. I cut out the pinstriped digital paper and the flowered digital paper with flowers and hearts using my Nestibilities Romantic Rectangles.
I just love that image and these papers together. The green flourishes to the side of the images are from my Cherry Lynn Designs Mini Fanciful Flourish die cut. I found the tutorial for this card at Cards, Crafts, Kids Projects. This is what it looks like from different angles....
Thanks for stopping in and I hope that I have managed to inspire you in some small way ~ Charlene

Hi all, it's time for another new release from Digistamps4Joy and do we ever have some more fabulous images to show you. I have to tell you, I don't know why, but every since I saw this image that I got to play with this time I have been humming ol' blue eyes, Frank Sinatra's, song Fly me to the moon lol. I absolutely adore this image...he is just soooo cute! His name is Pilot Ted and you can find him here http://www.digistamps4joy.co.za/eshop/
Was I right or what? Please excuse the mistakes in my colouring...still getting used to colouring with my Chameleon pens (but I do love them). I printed him out on some digital paper called Rainbow Connect by Eye Inspire. How about we take a closer look at him....
I have to say, I just love his face. Not the way I coloured it (first oops lol) but his actual face. Isn't he too cute?
I hope that you have enjoyed checking out my new creation and I hope that you will pop by Digistamps4Joy Challenge Blog and check out the rest of our fabulous new images. And while you're there check out what my teammies have created to delight and inspire you.
Hi all, it's time for our mid challenge reminder here at Digistamps4Joy and so it is Team B's turn to show their stuff. The challenge for this month is being hosted by our very talented Margaret Gilmer and she has picked embossing (wet or dry) with red as the main colour.
I used a new image by Riette that was just released on Sunday for my card. It's called Daisies and is such a pretty image I couldn't resist making something with it.
I coloured the image with my new Chameleon pens...oh man they are just fabulous to use. Please excuse any mistakes you might see as this is only my third time using them and I know I need a lot more practice lol. But I do like how my daisies turned out. I used my red metallic pen for the wrapping around the stems just to give it a little bit of sparkle.
We hope that you will join us for our challenge. Margy has some wonderful prizes including a $10 Gift Voucher for the winner of the DT Choice. You don't have to use a DS4J image, but to win the DT choice you must. To check out all of the prizes and rules, please head on over to our challenge blog. While you're there check out the fabulous creations that my team mates have come up with to awe and inspire you. Thanks for visiting ~ Charlene Supplies Used:
