Nettie of Nettie G's was having a fashion challenge. This is a progressive challenge over 3 weeks. Last week we were emailed our first image. It was an image called Eliza and she was in her corsett and stockings. We had until 11:59 p.m. tonight to be able to link our card to her challenge. I decided to use this image to make a card for my sister for her upcoming birthday (o.k...it's not until April, but at least the card is done and ready to be mailed lol). I decided to go with a SU Rich Razzleberry cardstock for the base and printed the image on white cs from Michaels. I added a light pink cardstock from Micheals and stamped a Victorian heart on it (from Michaels) using SU Purely Pomegranate ink.
I colored her with SU watercolor pencils and distressed the edges with Colorbox Petal Point Enchantment ink to match the flowers. The clasps for the garter and buttons on her shoes, are colored with a Silver Metallic Gelly Roll pen from Michaels. The flowers are by Portafolia and the brads in the centers are from Michaels. The sentiment is computer generated. The pearls are from my local scrapbooking store Bartell's. They are made by Recollections.
