I colored this image using Prisma Scholar coloring pencils. I used 2 different shades of purple...a light lavender and a darker purple. I then added blue to the areas that I thought should be a little darker. I then blended it with oms. I have no idea why it looks like there is a shiney area on it because I added nothing to make it shine. Unfortunately, I had no time to take another picture before I had to leave to bring it to her. In the top left and bottom right corners I added a die that I cut using my cuttlebug, with a white pearl in the middle of each flower. In the top right and bottom left I added 3 small purple pearls.

I was going to ask about the corner pieces. You did it on the cuttlebug??? Oh I want one so bad. I thought they were just for embossing, not die cutting too. I need to find something like that for my Cricut.
Gorgeous!! Love how you wrapped the ribbon around the scallops. The image is perfect for a sympathy card!
Cheers!

Love the beautiful rich colors you chose which is perfect for this card - gorgeous flourishes in the corners and all the pearl detailing adds a perfect touch! Awesome idea you had to wrap the ribbon around the scallop and tie it off on top of the flower!!
I agree hun, not the most popular card that you can make but one that we all have to face at some time or other. It's so nice to know thou that you have created this card with love and it shows in your beautiful colouring. I think the image is just perfect and your embellishments are a gorgeous finishing touch. I'm sure your friend will appreciate the time you put into your wonderful creation. *Hugs*
I think Vickie just said it all hun. So sorry you have had to do two back to back like that, never nice and sending you hugs.
Such a perfect choice of image and wonderful colouring Charlene.
You can see the thought and care in this card.xx
What a beautiful sympathy card! We don't like to make these type of occasion cards, but at least you made it with love for the recipient.

Has to be the worst type of card that needs to be made...but you will make the person receiving it feel a bit better by getting a beautiful card.
Gorgeous sympathy card Char! LOVE the corner pieces with the pearls and the way you wrapped the ribbon around the mat... also the iris BG paper is perfect. Love this. Sorry to hear you had to make this though :( Never easy.
