I decided to do something that you could use on the tables at a wedding or maybe as gift favours for the guests.
I made this tealight holder using Digistamps4Joy's gorgeous image Bedazzled Bride...I will have to get back to you on the link for this tealight holder...I just realized that I was using my dd's computer when I made this and I save the link on her computer lol. I just love this image...it was so much fun to play with. Margy did an incredible job of all of the fine details on her dress and veil...just take a look.
I used a satin finish cs from Bazzil and covered it with this incredible new paper that I found....it's almost like a material. I wish I could tell you who it is by but I only bought a couple of sheets and there is no manufacture name on it lol. Might try and find out from the store that I bought it from. The pearls are by Recollections and the flowers are by Offey Stylish Accents. I outlined all of the fabulous detail on her dress and veil with my glitter gold gel pen and then added some stickles for an extra bit of glitter (cause you know I just love the glitter and bling).
I used my SU round scalloped punch to punch a hole in two sides for the candle light to show through and then covered the hole with velum paper the I had hand written the sentiment on with a fine tip felt pen. I put in a battery operated tealight to show how it would look. I used my Memory Box Savanah die to add vines around the flowers. I cut the vines out of gold metallic cs by Bazzil.
The rules of the challenge are easy...make a project that is for a wedding but is not a card. You have until June 18th to enter. For the list of rules and prizes, please check out our Challenge Blog. Hope to see you all there and while you're there check out all of the fabulous creations the rest of my teammates have made...you'll be glad you did.
Thanks for visiting ~ Charlene
