It’s
beginning to look a lot like Christmas…..HOLD ON THERE!!! CHRISTMAS???? Didn’t
we just finish having Christmas? Well as a matter of fact we did, but you know
how hard it is to get the upper hand on all of those wonderful Christmas cards.
So to help us along Digistamps4Joy has started a Christmas ProgressiveChallenge…and the great part is that they are supplying the image!! That’s
right, as long as you make a card each month and enter it into the challenge,
you will be eligible for the next month’s freebie! For the month of January we
were given a really beautiful candle called Christmas Candle.
Please
excuse the quality of the picture. When I went to take it I realized that my
camera battery was dead so I ended up taking it with my hubby’s cell phone…note
to self…my cell phone takes much better pictures lol. So I started out with a
really beautiful burgundy dp called Noel from Making Memories. I layered this
onto white cs from Recollections. I used a layout from this weeks Wednesday
Sketch Challenge at Outlawz. And I got the wonderful sentiment from A Piece of
Heart.
I
colored the image with my Crayola Pencil crayons and oms, and my gold and red
glitter pens and my green metallic pen. The clear rhinestone swirls are from
Crafts and the decorative border is cut out of gold cs from Recollections. I
will have to check on what the name of the border die is as I forgot to bring
it upstairs with me.
Note: You can join our challenge at any time…so if you missed out on
January’s challenge, you can join in for February’s. Then as long as you enter
a project in, you will get the next image…how great is that??
Thanks
for visiting ~
