You all know
that my dear daughter and I were recently in Alberta to work the Calgary
Stampede. What you do not know, is that shortly after we came back home my
great nephew was celebrating his 3rd Birthday. Since we were going
to be there close to his birthday I decided that I just had to do up a birthday
card for him. Luckily I had just gotten this totally fabulous image from
Digistamps4Joy that was just perfect for his birthday.
The image is
called Toon Dragon and I paired it up with another Digistamps4Joy image called ChristmasHat, but I made it into a birthday hat. The piece of cake is from Dustin Pike. The
images were coloured by my daughter Kat and I with Crayola Pencil Crayons and
oms. Kat also helped me to pick out all of the papers and embellishments that
we used for the card…she’s such a great help :D
This is the
inside of the card. When we gave it to him it did have a birthday sentiment in
it, but I was in such a hurry because we were leaving the next day and I forgot
to take a picture of it. Maybe my niece will do it for me and send me a copy. The orange
cs is by Stampin Up, the Dinosaur paper is called Dinosaur Collage and it’s by Karen
Foster Design. I just love this paper because it not only has the names of dinosaurs on it, but also has some fun facts about them. The circles paper on the front is by Sandilion. Unfortunately, as usual, I used the piece of paper with the name
and manufacturer on it for the green “scale” paper on the actual card so I have
no idea who it’s by. The wonderful pterodactyls and volcano are 3D Pop-Up Fun stickers
by Craft Medley Krafty Kids and I found them at my local dollar store.
Thanks for coming and looking...hope I have managed to inspire you.
Hugs ~ Charlene
